Annual Hospital Audit Shows Positive Cash Flow
May 4, 2018Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Mary Roderick of Cabool the April employee of the month.
Roderick works in the dietary department at TCMH. She has been employed at TCMH for fifteen years. Roderick was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Jeff Ijames, dietary director.
“Roderick has a proven track record of doing good work,” Ijames said. He explained that Roderick arrives to work on time, rarely misses, and he never has to worry about the quality of her work because she is consistent day in and day out.
“Mary is the type of employee every leader wants to find,” Ijames said. “I wish that I could say that I hired her, but she started her career at TCMH approximately six years before me.”
Ijames mentioned that if Roderick sees something that needs done, she will make sure it is taken care of.
“Roderick grew up on a dairy farm and is no stranger to hard work,” Ijames said. “She carries the work ethic she learned very early to work with her each day.”
Family time is very important to Roderick. She and her husband Kevin, have raised three daughters together.
Ijames described Roderick as being “committed.” He explained that Roderick consistently displays a high level of commitment to her work every day, but she is also committed to her family.
“TCMH is privileged to have such a well-rounded employee be a part of this organization,” Ijames said.
As employee of the month, Roderick received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card; and gift certificates to Paws N Claws; D&L Florist; Blissful Nirvana Massage; Wehr Motors; Savor Grill; and Big Red Car Wash. A reception will be held at the hospital in honor of Roderick.
Roderick is eligible for the 2018 TCMH employee of the year award.
