TCMH Healthcare Foundation Plans Annual Golf Tournament
April 13, 2018Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Rose Vanderbilt of Willow Springs the March employee of the month.
Vanderbilt is a certified surgical technologist in the surgery department at TCMH. She has been employed at TCMH for two years. Vanderbilt was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Kim Jordan, perioperative services director.
“Vanderbilt has been a very dependable employee for me the two years she has been here,” Jordan said. She explained that Vanderbilt always arrives to work on time, stays busy with her tasks, and provides great customer service.
Jordan noted that because Vanderbilt is known for her reliability, she has worked in many different areas of the hospital when extra coverage is needed.
“Rose will do anything asked of her,” Jordan said.
Jordan mentioned that Vanderbilt will stay at the hospital rather than going home when she is on call during bad weather, and she does this without every complaining.
“She never knows when she may be needed for a surgery case, so staying in the hospital ensures that she will be available quickly,” Jordan said. “This is just one of her many qualities that contributes to her being a great team player.”
As employee of the month, Vanderbilt received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card, and gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist; Blissful Nirvana Massage, Wehr Motors, Savor Grill and Big Red Car Wash. A reception will be held at the hospital in honor of Vanderbilt.
Vanderbilt is eligible for the 2018 TCMH employee of the year award.
