Smith Named Employee of the Month

Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Debra Smith of Houston the August employee of the month. 

Smith is a receptionist at the TCMH Family Clinic in Licking.  Smith has worked for TCMH since 2011, and she was nominated for the award by Anita Kuhn, controller at the hospital.

 “Debra has willingly traveled to Houston and Summersville over the past year to help provide clinic coverage as well as working in the Licking clinic,” Kuhn said. “When I have to ask Debra to cover in another clinic, she does so with a smile.”

Kuhn described Smith as “dependable and flexible”, noting that the healthcare providers at the Licking Clinic speak highly of Smith’s work in the clinic.

                As employee of the month, Smith received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; $100 cash; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card; gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist and Janstiques, and cd of the month from Big Country 99.  A reception will be held at the hospital in honor of Smith.

                Smith is now eligible for the 2013 TCMH employee of the year award.
