Open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, the highly trained medical professionals in the Emergency Department are here for your peace of mind.
Texas County Memorial Hospital Emergency Department handles a wide range of medical emergencies — from minor medical issues like a cough or sprained finger, to bigger emergencies involving stitches and x-rays, to life-threatening illnesses and injuries. The physician and nursing staff are trained in advanced cardiac life support and emergency care of adult and pediatric patients.
When you arrive at the Emergency Department, we utilize a triage system that allows those with the greatest need to be seen and treated first. Our thirteen-bed emergency department is set up to provide the care you need when you need it. Our trauma room allows for life-saving procedures and equipment to be immediately ready. Our OB/GYN room protects your privacy while providing your comfort. The TCMH emergency waiting area is furnished with vending services for snacks and drinks.
The Emergency Department dispatches ambulances out of bases in Cabool, Houston, Licking, and Mountain Grove. The TCMH ambulance service is also available to meet your needs every day of the year. The ambulances are equipped with life-saving equipment and the staff are trained in handling emergencies, large and small.
