Spiritual care

Spiritual care

Spiritual care is part of the healing process. Your personal clergy or spiritual leader is welcome to visit at any time. Many patients find it beneficial to speak to their own spiritual advisor or one of our Volunteer Chaplains for encouragement and to help process their situation. TCMH respects all faiths and spiritual backgrounds.

Chaplain visitations

The TCMH Volunteer Chaplains are area congregational and spiritual leaders that donate their time and are committed to regularly providing spiritual care to patients and their families. The chaplains are not on site at TCMH all the time, but are available any time of day.

TCMH Volunteer Chaplains are available to anyone. The chaplains make routine rounds at the hospital to offer visits to patients. The chaplains are also on call for emergency, urgent, and non-urgent visits.

To request a visit from a Volunteer Chaplain, just ask your nurse, aide, or any TCMH staff member.

The chapel is on the Medical Surgical 2nd Floor and is open 24/7 for all hospital patients, visitors, and staff.
