October 13, 2017Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Susan Drought of Bucyrus the September employee of the month.
Drought is an aide in the housekeeping department at TCMH, and she has worked in that position since February 2015. Drought was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Amy Wilson, housekeeping director.
“Susan is a role model for a TCMH ‘team player’,” Wilson said. She described Drought as “motivated”.
Wilson noted that Drought has willingly assisted with additional shifts during the concurrent maternity leaves of two aides in the department.
“Susan always jumps right in and changes her schedule or plans when I need her,” Wilson said.
As employee of the month, Drought received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card, and gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist; Blissful Nirvana Massage, Wehr Motors, and Savor Grill. A reception will be held at the hospital in honor of Drought.
Drought is eligible for the 2017 TCMH employee of the year award.
