January 24, 2025On November 3, Bomgaars in Houston once again hosted its popular “Ladies’ Night,” an evening of festive shopping dedicated to supporting local women’s health initiatives. During the event, $316.02 of the total sales was generously donated to the TCMH Healthcare Foundation.
“We are incredibly grateful for Bomgaars and our community coming together again this year to support women’s health through Ladies’ Night,” said Jeff Gettys, President of the TCMH Healthcare Foundation. “This contribution will directly enhance the women’s health services offered at TCMH, enabling us to provide essential preventive care for those in need.”
Organized under the leadership of Store Manager Jeanie Goins, the event offered a 20% discount on purchases during a special evening shopping window. As part of this promotion, Bomgaars pledged 5% of its sales from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. to local healthcare organizations.
The TCMH Healthcare Foundation will use these funds to bolster critical women’s health services at TCMH, including mammograms and other preventive screenings.
These screenings are vital for early detection of breast cancer and are typically covered by insurance. Women aged 35 and older do not require a physician’s order to schedule a mammogram.
