TCMH and Houston High School Partnered to Provide Enrichment for Students
December 14, 2018Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Kalli Wade of Houston the November employee of the month.
Wade is a registered nurse in the emergency department at TCMH. She has been employed at TCMH for three years. Wade was nominated for the award by her supervisor, Jerri Sue Crump, emergency department director.
“Kalli is always looking for ways to improve patient care in the emergency department,” Crump explained. “She will do anything she can to grow her knowledge base of emergency medicine so she can share it with others she works with.”
“Kalli listens to constructive criticism and she is respected by those she works with,” Crump said. “The emergency department physicians respect her knowledge and they listen to her ideas.”
Crump mentioned that when Wade comes to work she is a warrior and patient care always comes first.
“We are very blessed to have Kalli as part of the TCMH family,” Crump said. “She has a huge impact on patient lives, she serves them with her whole heart.”
As employee of the month, Wade received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a $50 gift card, and gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist; Blissful Nirvana Massage, Wehr Motors, Savor Grill and Big Red Car Wash. A reception will be held at the hospital in honor of Wade.
Wade is eligible for the 2019 TCMH employee of the year award.
