TCMH Healthcare Foundation Luncheon

TCMH Healthcare Foundation hosted a special luncheon today to honor and celebrate its team members who contribute to the hospital’s employee giving programs. The event recognized staff who generously donate to the Helping Hands and Futures Team initiatives.

The Helping Hands program provides financial assistance to fellow hospital employees facing unexpected hardships, while the Futures Team program helps fund the expansion of hospital services and technology to meet the future healthcare needs of the Texas County community.

The appreciation luncheon, held in the Mayuga Café at TCMH, was made possible by the generous sponsorship of the American Legion Post 41. Members of the American Legion graciously volunteered their time to prepare and served “Freedom Dogs” for all hospital staff.

“We are incredibly grateful for our employees who go above and beyond by donating to our internal programs,” said Jeff Gettys, TCMH Foundation President. “Their generosity makes an actual impact on their colleagues and on the future of our hospital. We are also deeply thankful for the American Legion Post 41. Their partnership demonstrates their powerful commitment to our community and to our TCMH family.”

Bob Joens, Commander of American Legion Post 41, was on-site and shared his perspective. “American Legion Post 41 is built on a foundation of service to our community and our country,” said Joens. “Partnering with TCMH Foundation to honor its dedicated staff is a privilege. These are the people who take care of our friends, neighbors, and veterans every single day. We’re proud to support them and the vital work our hospital does.”

The event celebrated the spirit of giving that is central to the culture at TCMH and highlighted the strong community partnerships that support the hospital’s mission.
