Turner Named Employee of the Month

Texas County Memorial Hospital has named Carol Turner of Success the December employee of the month. 

Turner is a registered nurse in the emergency medicine department at TCMH, and she has worked for the hospital for 22 years.  She was nominated for the award by Jerri Sue Crump, emergency department director at TCMH.

“Carol brings outstanding knowledge and skills to the emergency department,” Crump said, adding, “She is dependable and steady.”

Crump noted that Turner willingly “takes on extra duties” when needed in the department.  She is also responsible for helping with the quality reporting within the department.

“Carol always strives to do the right thing for patients in the ER,” Crump said.

As employee of the month, Turner received a certificate honoring her achievement; a pin; $100 cash; a special parking place in the TCMH lot; one day of paid vacation; a membership in the TCMH Fitness Center; a $50 gift card; gift certificates to Paws N Claws, D&L Florist and Janstiques, and cd of the month from Big Country 99.  A reception will be held at the hospital in honor of Turner.

Turner is eligible for the 2014 TCMH employee of the year award.

This is Turner’s second time to win the employee of the month award.  She also won the award for April 2005.
